When to use it
Use this cheat sheet throughout the innovation process when you need to ideate to identify critical leap of faith assumptions to prioritize and then test through experimentation design.
Usually this happens after creating a new concept with features or after generating a new business model to test with key stakeholders and partners.
How to use it
STEP 1
Refer to the cheat sheet questions depending on the stage of the innovation process you’re currently at.
STEP 2
As a team go through each question and generate as many assumptions statements as you can think of. Remember: assumptions are ‘beliefs or ideas we hold to be true, often with little or no evidence required‘.
STEP 3
Prioritize your assumption types across PEOPLE, PLANET, PROFIT & PROGRESS to enable you to identify the most critical ones to test and experiment on first.
